Reconnecting

Last night I spoke to an old friend on the phone that I has not talked to in almost THREE years. We had a falling out in '07, and I have been having dreams about her ever since. Last night we sent each other messages at the EXACT same time, which was eerie, and talked on the phone for several hours.

The universe works in strange ways I guess. Speaking of wonders of the universe, has anybody stopped and looked at vegetables lately?

This cabbage is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

What have I been up to lately?

Other than reading Norwegian fantasy novels?

Laura and I threw a joint birthday party and it was really fun, at least I thought so.

Julie thought so too, I've never seen her do so many keg stands!

Also,I had a bazillion friends visit this week and Roomie flew in from New York and surprised me at work, which made me feel like this:


And I ate the most delicious (sustainably raised!)sandwich I have had all year. Spit roasted Porchetta with pickled cabbage, house made dijon and pepper-cress, served with a side of pickled onions.


And of course... LOST.

It's almost MARCH!
